Crappie | Fair | 9-12 inches | Jigs or minnows in 15-18ft of water near timber or brush. Fish will begin to move shallow in the coming weeks for the spawn as water temperatures begin to increase.
Channel catfish | Fair | up to 22 inch | Fresh cut bait and shad sides on wind blown points and shorelines.
Fair | up to 18 inch | Jerk baits and jigs are good cool water baits for early bass. Look shallow on rocky shorelines during the warmer parts of the day.
White bass | Fair | 10 - 14 inch | On warm days look for wipers and white bass on shallow wind blown points. White curly tailed grubs, small lipless crankbaits, and roadrunners are good selections. On cooler days, look for the fish in deeper water off the points, along breaks, and along the old road.
Wiper | Fair | up to 22 inch | Same as white bass
Walleye | Slow | up to 24 inch | Walleye minimum length limit 18 inches. Not many recent reports available for walleye. The walleye spawn is approaching and walleye will be on rocky shorelines including the dam. Nighttime is the best time to target spawning walleye as they go shallow to spawn. Floating crankbaits and jerkbaits work well casted parallel to shore. Jig and plastic combos also work well. Prior to the spawn, walleye can be found off the rocky shorelines in deeper water but will often go shallow during warmer days to take advantage of the warmest water.
