TERRESTRIAL HABITAT IMPROVEMENT and RESTORATION FUND
Benefit wildlife by helping to support habitat on private lands and waters.
Some of the most serious threats to wildlife include habitat destruction, degradation or conversion, and they can affect game and non-game animals alike. The Terrestrial Habitat Improvement and Restoration Fund seeks to help preserve habitat or mitigate habitat loss so that wildlife generations of the future will have a place to find shelter, food, water and suitable reproductive opportunities. Although this fund is focused on suitable habitat for game wildlife, non-game wildlife also benefits from habitat improvements.
