The Kansas Department of Wildlife, Parks and Tourism (KDWPT) has closed the Rocky Ford Fishing Area located downstream from Tuttle Creek Reservoir until further notice due to treacherous high water conditions resulting from the release of water from the dam's outlet tubes.

KDWPT cautions the public, for their own safety, to not attempt to access the river for fishing or boating.
