Wilson Waterfowl Report -
Waterfowl numbers 6000 ducks; majority Mallards with remaining mix of wigeons, Common goldeneyes, mergansers, and few Buffleheads, Redheads and Canvasbacks.  2000 Canada geese.  85% ice cover.  Ducks loafing off points from State Park Cove to Hell Creek to Dam to Lucas Point.  West end is ice covered. 
   
Water level 5 ft low
Hunting conditions Cedar Creek boat ramp is dry and inaccessible; Elm Creek boat ramp is iced up. Best opportunity is field hunting. Always get landowner permission before hunting on private lands.  There is no check-in or check-out to hunt Public Lands at Wilson Wildlife Area.
Expected hunting success Waterfowl numbers in region improved; birds flying off reservoir to feed;
