Waterfowl numbers Light geese rare or absent.                                               
Water levels 0.4 feet below conservation elevation (1,274') on 2/21/25.    
Hunting conditions The lake was ice covered on 2/21/25.  Ice conditions continue to change (sometimes significantly) each day.  The lake remained relatively full through August.  Hot and dry conditions persisted in September and October.  Moist soil plants are largely absent along lake fringes.  As such, few food resources will be available for waterfowl within lake environments.          
Expected hunting success Poor for Light Geese.       
Comments Duck and Dark Goose seasons are CLOSED.  Light Geese Spring Conservation Order is open through April 30.
