GIFT THAT KEEPS ON GIVING ON SALE DEC. 17
KDWP offers 15 days of free hunting, fishing, park use
PRATT --Anyone searching for that perfect Christmas gift for the outdoorsman or woman in their life should look to the Kansas Department of Wildlife and Parks (KDWP). On Dec. 17, KDWP will offer 2006 licenses and park permits for sale. Although 2006 licenses and permits may be purchased in mid-December of 2005, they offer 15 days of free hunting, fishing, or park entrance because they are valid for the remainder of 2005 and all of 2006.
Hunting licenses (resident $20.15, nonresident $72.15), fishing licenses (resident $20.15, nonresident $42.15), furharvester licenses (resident $20.15, nonresident $252.15), annual park vehicle permits ($36.65 now, $46.65 April 1-Sept. 30), and annual trail passes ($12.15) are all included in this offer, so outdoorsmen and women may take advantage of their favorite activity during the 2005 Christmas season without having to purchase another license or permit in 2006.
The 2006 issues will be available from license vendors and Kansas Department of Wildlife and Parks offices. They may also be purchased from the convenience of your home through the internet or by phoning 1-833-587-2164 toll-free.
