KANSAS FUR HARVESTERS ASSOCIATION AUCTION FEB. 23

Trappers should make lot reservations before the auction date
ABILENE -- The Kansas Fur Harvesters Association (KFHA) will conduct a public auction Feb. 23 in Abilene. The auction will be held in Sterl Hall on the county fairgrounds. Lots are open for sellers for $10, and the fee must be sent in before the auction date. Leftover lot numbers, if any, will be handed out on the day of the auction, but reserving a lot ahead of time ensures a seller's lot.

Sterl Hall will open at 7 a.m., and the auctions will begin at 9 a.m., so those in the first 14 lots should be there and set up before 9 a.m.

To reserve a lot number, phone Roger or Donna Macy at 785-346-2076 or 785-346-6017. The best contact time is from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.
