PRATT – In honor of those clocking in the usual Monday through Friday, and more, Kansas State Parks invite you to kick back and enjoy your Labor Day weekend with Kansas native and Sony Nashville recording artist, Logan Mize. Mize, along with special guest, Jason Boyd, will be playing a free concert at the El Dorado State Park amphitheater on Sunday, September 6 at 8 p.m. The concert is free for all parkgoers with a daily vehicle permit or annual park pass.
Mize’s top hits include “Used Up,” “El Camino,” “Thank God For You,” “Boys From Back Home,” and his newest release, “Can’t Get Away From a Good Time.” Concert-goers looking to get a sneak-peek of what to expect at the September 6 concert can visit https://www.youtube.com/user/LoganMize to listen to Mize’s songs.
Kansas state parks are perfect for families wanting to enjoy the last holiday weekend of the summer. State parks provide convenient access to water for swimming, boating and fishing; trails for hiking and biking; and plenty of other outdoor activities. Like Mize’s hit song, you “can’t get away from a good time” at a Kansas state park.
