Saline State Fishing Lake
2019 Spring Rains have raised the lake level sufficient to support re-stocking Channel Catfish and Bluegill.
The lake is open to vehicle traffic from Sunrise to Sunset (gate is closed after hours) from April t1 to Aug. 31.
No Alcohol is permitted on the property.
Catfish Daily Creel is 5 per day.
During low water levels over the last several years, the lake has been closed to vehicle access and fishing. When full, Saline State Fishing Lake has 39 acres of water surrounded by 39 acres of land. Facilities include a boat ramp, fishing piers, a vault toilet and several fishing access points.
In 2014, KS. Dept. of Wildlife and Parks entered an agreement with the Saline County Uplanders chapter of Pheasants Forever/Quail Forever. This agreement allows the Chapter to hold shooting, hunting and outdoor activity training events. The Chapter works to keep the area cleaned, maintained and improves habitat for wildlife.
