he Washboard Mussel is an obligate large river species preferring deep water with slow current over a substrate of mud or mud/gravel. Fish hosts include crappie, channel catfish and flathead catfish, black bullhead, and drum. It is most likely to still occur in the lower Fall, Marias des Cygnes, Neosho, and Verdigris rivers.
