Prairie Long Rifles will hold their 31st anniversary Fall Shoot October 22-24, 2010, at Kanopolis State Park's Mulberry Campground. A family event for people of all ages, this fall shoot features rifle, pistol, knife and hawk events with a supervised pre-junior shoot. There will be kid's events as well. All shooting from bag, round ball only with open sights. NMRLA rules apply. There will be rifle builders shoots, mountain skills team and archery shoots. Come see mountain men and women in full regalia. Trappers and traders will be there with tents for buying and trading. Shooting hours are from 8 am to 4 pm on Saturday. State park vehicle permits required.
