The Kansas Department of Health and Environment (KDHE), in cooperation with the Kansas Department of Wildlife, Parks and Tourism (KDWPT) and Westar Energy, is announcing the second Keep It Clean Kansas state park cleanup event scheduled for Saturday, April 23 from 8 a.m. to noon in recognition of Earth Day.  Prairie Dog State Park has been selected as one of the five park to participate in this event.  Volunteers at each park will receive a T-shirt and breakfast will be provided.  KDHE invites the public to register at www.kdheks.gov/waste/earthday.html.  Please join us for this event and help keep your park looking great.
