This lake is enrolled into the Community Fisheries Assistance Program. A county fishing permit is no longer required. Shoreline fishing is primarily at the south end of the pit along the county road (400 Rd.). Shoreline access is very limited because of the strip pit terrain. This is a good lake for small boats. There is good habitat for fish along the shoreline. This area receives annual channel catfish stockings.
